AICTE approval to start 80 new eng. colleges in TN

Tiruchy: AICTE has given approval for starting 80 new engineering colleges

The All India Council for Technical Education has given approval for starting 80 new engineering colleges with a total intake of 20000 seats in Tamil Nadu  this year.

Anna university sources said the approval was given after a team of the AICTE inspected various aspects in the colleges including infrastructure and staff ratio.
