ICICI Prudential AMC to give scholarship to students

Bangalore: ICICI Prudential AMC has announced that it would extend scholarship worth Rs 27.9 lakh to benefit 112 students across the country under its Child Care Plan.

Speaking to reporters here, ICICI Head of Retail, Sales and Distribution, South Zone, Mr Hari Krishna Raj said the scholarship had been announced on the basis of HSC and SSC results to meritorious students for the academic years 2006-07 and 2007-08.

The scholarship was with the objective of providing financial assistance to deserving and meritorious students to help them in their future education.

The Child Care Plan was launched in 2001 and the scholarship programme was constituted for the benefit of unit holders under this plan.

The ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company had set up a trust to institute and administer this scholarship scheme.
