As many as 900 more seats are to be added in the State's medical education by opening six new medical colleges in the next couple of years, he said.

Patel was talking to the media after inauguration of a new medical college in Gotri here.

Gujarat has set up three new medical colleges (with a total 450 seats) and they have started functioning from this academic year (which began yesterday), the Minister said.
