Andhra Pradesh government is set to bring out a policy that would  integrate education and employment to enhance the employability of the youth, Chief Minister K Kiran Kumar Reddy said.

Education should be in line with the industry requirements and the youth will be provided with necessary training to suit industry needs, he said.

"The government will prepare a comprehensive draft plan for providing 15 lakh jobs in the next three years under 'Rajiv Education and Employment Mission', Reddy said during an award function organised by Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Fapcci).

He said the industry should come forward and lend a helping hand to achieve the ambitious target.

Reacting to the request made by the Fapcci on power tariff, Reddy said the government has been trying to fill the gap in the electricity shortage by purchasing it from outside.

Some of the power plants could not take off due to land issues and the Government will sort them out, the Chief Minister said.
