Bihar allots land for central varsity

The Bihar government has allotted land required for a Central University at Motihari in East Champaran district and it was now up to the Centre to decide when it would begin construction.
 
"While the Centre has started work on opening central universities in states, it is now for the Union Human Resources Ministry to decide when it takes up the construction in Motihari," Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi told reporters here.
 
The state government would soon make premises available for the Maulana Majharul Haque Arbi Farsi University in the state, he added.
