Including Principal 4 were arrested for paper theft

New Tehri: Four persons including the principal of a government college from where a bunch of papers disappeared were arrested following an inquiry.

Devendra Dutt, the principal of Kund Bharpu Government Inter College, who was also the incharge for the board exams, was arrested along with deputy incharge Pramod Kumar and two others.

Utarakhand government suspended the intermediate board exams (12th class) for English, Economics, Sanskrit and Mathematics after a bunch of papers disappeared from Kkhund Bharpur Inter-College in this district.

The fresh dates of exams for the four subjects would be announced later. The papers of these subjects were found missing when the college authorities opened the sealed box for distributing them among the examinees.
