Student arrested for using impersonator in exam

An MBBS aspirant, who had allegedly sent an impersonator to clear his Rajasthan Pre-Medical Test (RPMT), was arrested here, police said.
 
Chetan Meghwal, hailing from Jalore district, was arrested during counselling here when his thumb impression and photograph did not match the impression and photo taken before the test.
 
The accused has told the University officials and police that a man identified as Vikram had appeared in written test in place of him at an exam center in Jodhpur district, the police said.
 
"It is suspected that besides the impostor Vikram, a few more persons may be involved in the matter. It is being probed thoroughly that how an impostor appeared in exam and why it went unnoticed," a police officer added.
