Attempt NDA entrance after Class XI now

Students aiming to join the National Defence Academy need not wait for their Plus-Two exams to be over, to appear for the entrance exam.

The Officers' Academy, Secunderabad, announced that they can attempt the entrance test soon after Class XI or Intermediate First Year, and save a year in the bargain.

Further, through a press release, the Academy sought to inform about its six-month short course that aims to prepare the Class X students (SSC as well as CBSE) for the entrance test.

The course will be run in the evening after the school hours, and designed for a strong concept based foundation subject-wise, simultaneously preparing students for Class X exams too, said the press note.

Additionally, this course also ensures strong foundation for various engineering exams such as IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, and VIT, and medical entrance exams such as JIPMER, AFMC, ACMS, CMC, AIPMT, AIIMS, and EAMCET, Captain R.Sarkar from the Academy said.

The Academy will induct only 35 students into this preparatory course on first-come first-served basis.

Free brochure, course details and counselling will be given at the academy reception between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on all working days.
