Bihar to launch new education programme from Independence day

Bihar government has decided to launch a new education programme from Independence day to promote attendence in schools by students and teachers, according to the HRD Minister P K Shahi.
 
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will launch the education programme, he said.
 
The new education programme will ensure 100 per cent attendence in schools by both teachers and students and provide quality education according to the interests of the students, Shahi said.
 
The HRD minister appealed to the people to extend cooperation to the state government to help improve quality of education in Bihar and said the task will be difficult without public participation.
