Aligarh Muslim University Vice-Chancellor P K Abdul Azis put to rest the
speculation over the fate of the institute's campus here saying both the Central and state governments had positive attitude towards it.

"There are no obstacles in the way of setting up a unit of AMU in Kishanganj in Bihar ... Both the Central and state governments hold positive attitude in this regard," Azis said here.

A six-member AMU team headed by the Vice-Chancellor inspected 250 acres identified for the AMU branch and held discussions with the district authorities.

Later, talking to reporters, Azis said the campus would be opened as soon as the state government and district administration would acquire the land.
