UK fellowship for AU student

Rashmi Gupta, a PhD student of Centre of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS), Allahabad University, has been offered the prestigious Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship by the University College London, UK.
The fellowship is given for two years. Rashmi is a PhD students under Bhoomika Kar of CBCS. Under the fellowship, Rashmi will get Rs 34 lakh.

She will work under the guidance of Prof Nilli Lavie, a renowned professor in the area of cognitive neuroscience. Earlier Rashmi was awarded with John G. Nicholls Research Fellowship by the International Brain Research Organisation to pursue her first post-doc at the Bangor University, North Wales, UK. At University College London, Rashmi would be exploring the area of neural mechanism of the interaction of emotion, attention, and motivation.
