Stationary shortage delays Guj University academic session

The academic session of Gujarat University will start a little late this year. The delay has been caused by shortage of the university`s stationary inventory, leading to delay in printing of mark sheets.

While the colleges under the university will open from June 14, the official academic year of the university will be postponed to June 23. Varsity officials said that while results were declared around two weeks back, many students in the colleges are waiting for their mark sheets which are required for taking admission to the successive classes.

The admission process of the first year students are in process. However the admission process to the second year and third year will begin after the university hands out the mark sheets to the students.
