Next round of BBS entrance from June 16

Results for the entrance test for the bachelor of business studies (BBS) and the bachelor of financial investment and analysis (BFIA) courses were declared on Sunday. Shortlisted candidates will now have to appear for interviews and group discussions from June 16 to 25 at the business economics department, South Campus.

Around 15,500 students appeared for the June 4 test which was also conducted for BA (H) business economics (BBE).

The scores for the Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE) for admission to BA (H) English in 21 DU colleges will be announced on Monday.

For the BBS course, 1,140 general category candidates have been shortlisted for interview and GD while in the reserve categories, 261 SC, 37 ST and 451 OBC students have been chosen. The 277-seat BBS course is offered at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Keshav Mahavidyalaya and Saheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

For the BFIA course, which has 62 seats, 252 general candidates have received interview and GD calls. From the reserved quotas, 105 OBC, 59 SC and 25 ST aspirants have been picked up.

For the BBS and the BFIA courses, the candidates will get 50% weightage from the entrance test, 30% from Class XII scores, and 10% each from interview and GD.

As BBE does not conduct interviews and GDs, its results will be declared on June 25. Admission will be based on 50% weightage on the test and 50% on the Class XII marks.
