The Hindu EPlus counselling on June 15

The Hindu Education Plus Career Counselling for 2011 will be held at various centres in the State from June 12. Presented by Vignan University, the counselling will be held at six major locations in the south coastal region from June 15 to June 19. The counselling will be held at Vijayawada on June 15, at Guntur and Kakinada on June 17, and at Eluru, Khammam and Nellore on June 19. The time of the workshop will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the medical counselling will be provided only at Vijayawada centre and not at the other five centres.

The counselling workshops will address all the queries and doubts of students and parents regarding the choice of courses at the undergraduate level in engineering and medicine. There will be one-on-one sessions and lectures by academicians that will help students steer clear of their future aspirations and dream careers.The TV partner for the events is TV 5 News and the radio partner is Red FM 93.5.
Venues

The venues of the counselling are Tummalapalli Khestrayya Kalakshetra near Old Government Hospital in Vijayawada, Sri Venkateswara Vignan mandiram opposite Hindu College in Guntur, Alumni Auditorium at JNTU-K campus in Kakinada, Sir CR Reddy College of Engineering A/C auditorium in Eluru, A/C Hall of TTDC Building in Wyra Road in Khammam and Haritha AP Tourism Hotel at Dargamitta in Nellore. For registering their names, the students can call 0866-2553033/44 or mail at [email protected] for registration at Vijayawada, Guntur, Eluru and Khammam centres. Those who want to attend at Kakinada centre should call 0891-2536159-63 or mail at [email protected]. Those registering through e-mail should specify the venue of their choice clearly. The interested participants need to pay Rs. 100 for registration.

After taking the rigorous Eamcet examination, the next challenge staring in the eyes of students is the right choice of courses to be made for admissions into engineering, medical, pharmacy, nursing, biotechnology, and various other courses. The workshops will address the concerns of career-focused students.
