Updated on: Tuesday, April 19, 2011

Madras High Court Judge, Justice P Jyothimani, today told education should be a tool to mould good character of students as education without character served no purpose.
"It is more important for the youth to achieve moral values, confidence and capability along with education to face challenges of the world honestly," he said, delivering the 12th Graduation Day address at the Sri Sai Ram Engineering college at Tambaram.

It is nothing but confidence of Mahatma Gandhi (that) secured us freedom from the mighty British in a non-violent way, he said.

Advising students to exploit opportunities to be successful in life, he said they should imbibe the qualities of responsibility and accountability with courage and conviction to give back to the nation that has nurtured them.
