Rs 100 cr for revamp of Sher-e-Kashmir Univ: VC

An amount of Rs 100 crore would be utilised for strengthening the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (SKUAST) during the next finical year, University Vice Chancellor Tej Pratab said here.
SKUAST would be developed as a national agriculture university in the Kashmir Valley, Pratab said in a statement.
   
He said two new University campuses are also proposed to be established in addition to the already existing three campuses which are functional.
   
The basic infrastructure would be developed and the number of seats increased, he said.
