UP goes strict against exorbitant fees in B Ed colleges

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Government directed all universities and officers of higher education department to ensure disciplinary action against colleges charging more than the prescribed fees from B Ed students.

'The complaints of students and their guardians regarding colleges running B Ed classes should be taken up as affidavits and sent to universities concerned, which had been directed to take stern action in such cases,' Secretary,igher Education Kamram Rizvi said.

B Ed colleges should charge only Rs 27,536 from students and action should be taken against those charging more, he said.
