Additional marks for rural candidates in recruitment

The Punjab government today decided to give additional five marks to rural candidates for direct recruitment in all its departments, corporations and
boards.
A letter in this regard had been issued by the state government, an official release said here.
      
The step was taken in accordance with a directive of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, it said.
