PM to be the chief guest at IIM-A convocation function

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would preside over the 46th annual convocation function of Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad on March 26.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has accepted the invitation of IIM-A, to be the chief guest at the 46th annual convocation function of the institute to be held on March 26. Manmohan Singh will be the third Prime Minister to preside over the IIM-A's convocation function after Indira Gandhi in 1968 and P V Narsimha Rao in 1993.

The Chairman of ICICI Bank K V Kamath, an IIM-A alumni of 1971 PGP programme, will be the guest of honour on the occasion. The IIM-A received confirmation from Prime Minister's office on this.
