TN Engg counseling likely from July 1

The single window counseling for admission to Engineering studies in Tamil Nadu is likely to start from July 1 at Anna University, Chennai.

The tentative schedule was finalized at the first coordination meeting of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2011 (TNEA- 2011) in Chennai.

According sources, application for the TNEA would be available from May 16, taking into the fact that plus two common examination results would be out by second week of May.

To prevent last minute surge and shortages, officials intend to print almost 2.20 Lakh applications.
