TN Urdu Academy board reshuffled

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi reshuffled the Board of Tamil Nadu Urdu Academy and appointed Higher Education Minister K Ponmudy as its President.
The reshuffling was necessitated as the term of the present Board has ended.
  
According to an official press release, A S Sajjad Buhari, Madras University former Member, has been appointed as the Vice-President of the Academy.
   
Besides, a 15-member team including Tamil Nadu Wakf Board President Kaviko Abdul Rahman and University of Madras Urdu department HOD Dr B Nizar Ahmed, was appointed as Executive committee members, the release added.
