An ode to Tagore

To inspire and motivate children through the genius of Tagore, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan and Oracle Education Foundation (OEF) are celebrating Tagore Mahotsav for children from class 3 to 12.

Under this program, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is taking a lead and is empowering its students to use Oracle’s ThinkQuest platform to participate in various competitions that the school and OEF have jointly planned to promote collaborative learning at an early age in children.

Aligned to the guidelines of the National Curriculum Framework of progressive learning, the Tagore Mahotsav will have essay writing, book review, powerpoint presentataion and video competitions to promote a better understanding of Tagore as a poet, novelists, playright, painter and musician. The objective is to instill in children the ability to think and articulate in a rational manner and create leaders of tomorrow.

The prize winners of this ongoing competition will be announced on May, 7 which marks the birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.
