Haryana Agricultural Varsity signs MoU with University of Western Australia

With the purpose of developing academic and cultural exchange in teaching, research and other activities, the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar and the University of Western Australia (UWA) have decided to enhance mutual relations through a recently signed pact.

A Memorandum of Understanding on this regard was signed by Prof K S Khokhar, Vice-Chancellor of CCSHAU and Prof Alan Robson, Vice-Chancellor of UWA to go ahead with the mutually beneficial educational programme.

The five-year agreement would encourage exchange of faculty, students, academic material and information apart from joint research activities, including conferences and academic meetings.

All collaborative programmes or activities would be initiated with the consent of each university, whereas in the absence of any specific agreement to the contrary, all expenses of salary, living and allied costs would be determined at the discretion of the visitor's home university.
