Pearl Academy of Fashion to organise Creative Pearls

Pearl Academy of Fashion is organising its largest national level inter school talent hunt competition “Creative Pearls” for the students of class X, XI and XII. The competition is open to students from all over India as well as abroad. The competition includes Essay writing, T-shirt designing, Paper Bag painting and Mobile Video Making.

Creative Pearls is an annual initiative from Pearl Academy of Fashion and is aimed at encouraging creativity and design thinking among school students. The objective is to nurture the future professionals in this area and to accelerate the process of enrichment by providing them a common and effective platform to show their creativity.

During the declaration for online participation in this unique competition, Dr A K G Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion said, “Creative Pearls is organised every year with an objective of identifying and recognising the future creative professional and to accelerate and nurture the process of enrichment of their knowledge by providing them a proper and effective platform.  This year, we have decided to scale up the event through online and evolve it into one which gains resonance in various cities across the country.”

The online registration for this competition is open till January 27, 2011 and submissions have to be done by February 08, 2011. Jury awards will be presented to the students for each category. The prizes will be announced on February 20, 2011.

A participant can send entries for one or more categories but only one entry per category is allowed. Awards will be sent to the school address. All participants will receive a certificate of participation. For further details, visit http://www.pearlacademy.com.
