City-based Loyola Institute of Business Administration has tied up with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade to offer courses on Export Management.

"The six-month course is designed to give advanced training in the complex and constantly changing international trade scenario," LIBA said in a statement here.

The six-month course is slated to kick off on January 29, 2011.

"The industry in India and the world in general are suffering from a lack of qualified personnel who can adeptly manage import-export. I am sure that this highly specialised programme will have enhanced value since its floated with IIFT," LIBA Director Father Christie said.

Established in 1979, LIBA offers doctoral programmes, post-graduate training programmes and e-learning programmes, the statement said.
