Job fair ends up recruiting 256 students

In this high economic melt down it's a turning point for 256 students of various colleges in and around Perambalur who get placed in a job fair held at Thanthai Hans Roever College campus.

About 1,200 students contested for the fair and 30 companies including Pearson; Ed Serve; Techruit; Ebek; Shivani Info Solution; AKT Academy; Book Craft E-Publishing; Glo Tech Organic; Brain Child Business Solutions; ICICI; Reliance; 3I and V-Serve recruited the candidates.

Students need to be aware of their career progression and develop skills to meet the challenges, said college chairman K. Varadharaajen

The placement offers included jobs in information technology, marketing, insurance, health care, human resource, business process outsourcing, besides teaching professions.
