BEd in distance mode

Kerala: The National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) has accorded permission to the Centre for Distance Education in Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU), Anantapur, to commence BEd course in distance education mode from the 2009-10 academic year.

According to the university officials, the intake would be 500 every year and the number is likely to be increased in the coming years.

An NCTE team visited the university campus earlier this month to examine the infrastructure available to offer the BEd course in distance education mode.
