Bangalore student gets 32nd rank in IIT-JEE

Bangalore: Milind M Rao from Bangalore has secured the 32nd rank in the IIT-JEE this year. Milind, a student of Sindhi High School, has also secured the fifth rank in the CET results which were released on Monday.

Other students who made it from Bangalore, include Amit Warrier M (rank 78), Arijit Banerjee (rank 167), Arun Srinivasan Vinayak (rank 275), Preetish K L (rank 559), Sujan Kumar G (rank 674), Rohit Prasanna (rank 807), Chetan S (rank 855), Vivek Subramaniam (rank 917), Sumanth D (rank 1108), Rakshith K (rank 1276) and Gowtham S (rank 1405).

Moily's IIT statement welcomed Union Cabinet Minister Veerappa Moily's statement on granting an IIT to Karnataka has been welcomed by Higher Education Minister Aravind Limbavali.
