ISRO organising rocket modelling competition for students

ISRO will be organising a rocket model making competition for High School students in Kerala on October 9 as part of the Space Week celebrations.

The first 100 students who would be registering by contacting telephone number 0471-2565695 or 230602 would be permitted to participate in the competition to he held at the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum.

According to a release by Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) here, the organisers would provide aids like chart paper, knife, scale and gum for the participatns. However, they would have to bring themselves other required articles like colouring pencils and pens.
 
The participants should also carry with them the school ID cards or certificates from principals or head masters.
 
The winners would be given attractive prizes but all the participants would get certificates, the release added.
