M S University wants to attract more foreign students

In a bid to attract more foreign students, Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) is planning to have separate hostel arrangements for them.
 
"There are more than 70 students from Japan and other countries like Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bangladesh and France, who are studying in various faculties," MSU Vice-Chancellor Ramesh Goyal said today.
 
"In a bid to attract more such students, we are thinking of improving facilities in the existing hostels. We may also reserve a portion of students hostel for them," he told PTI.
 
At present, the university has more than 14 boys and girls hostels. The varsity has a total student strength of more than 35,000.
 
Goyal also talked about updating syllabus of various courses for meeting the requirements of foreign students.
