College authorities accused of demanding double fees: police

A complaint has been lodged against the management of a local college for allegedly charging double fees from its students, police said.
   
The students of Ginni Devi Modi Girls (PG) College stated in their complaint that they were required to deposit an amount of Rs 30,359 as total fee but they were asked by the institute to submit Rs 62,720, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM)
Gyanander Singh said.
   
Two officials of the college SK Jain and AK Jain were also booked for allegedly misbehaving with the girls when they went to deposit their fees, Singh said.
   
However, vice president Rajiv Saxena of KN Modi Foundation to which the college belongs said they are charging the fee as per direction of High Court.
