Joint Centre of Hospitality Education and Training in Munnar

Munnar Catering College (MCC), established by Thachankary Foundation, a Trust governed by Indian Trust Act 1882 and promoted by Royal Group of Companies, a conglomerate engaged in Aviation, shipping and education, has establshed a joint Centre of Hospitality Education and training in collboaration with IGNOU.
  
The Centre would conduct specialty courses and Joint Research Activities in India and abroad in the field of Hospitality Education, a release from Munnar Catering college, said here.
  
As a first step, IGNOU and MCC has agreed to collaborate with each other to establish the Centre at Munnar and Kochi with the objectives of enhancing knowledge, skills, aptitute and awareness and undertaking joint Research Activities in the field of Hospitality Education.
  
While MCC will prepare necessary syllabus, course materials etc for various programmes under the Joint Centre, IGNOU would issue Degree and PG Certificates to the students who have successfully completed the programmes, the release
said.
