Chennai: Gateway B-Schools -2009, a career guidance exhibition for future Corporate Executives, held at Kalivanar Arangam, 17 May

All the experts and top professional shared their valuable thoughts and delivered  vibrant speech on current topics which made the seminar a Thought provoking session

FR. N. Casmir Raj ,The LIBA founder and Former Director of XLRI, shared on the topic, 'University offering MBA and Specialised Colleges offering MBA'. He said, MBA aspirants should opt for 'Stand alone Businness School' that is the residential schools where skill based education is provided for students to equip and mould them to face  the current trends and learn business as a whole'.

Further he added, in choosing  good MBA schools students should be particular in three areas- Recognition from AICTE, specialization offered and residential facility in schools. These criteria will pay way to better  corporate executive in future.

Dr.Mahesh N.Shankar Mahesh, The Park Global School of Business Excellence, Director, delivered speech on 'Importance of Business Education in the Current Scenario'. Addressing  the students , he  said ' Root cause of  recession is US economy and it is agreed that recession is depression, But the end purpose of all consumption is production' . He suggested students , that ' any recession will last for two years ,so that MBA aspirants can get in to the course and in the end of two years recession will be the history'.

Mr.S Balasubramaniam ,T.I.M.E Director, gave indepth information on 'Different entrance exams  How to prepare and Face exams'. He broadly explained the two stages of selection process that students undergo during MBA entrance examination. Further he gave tips regarding how to prepare for aptitude test and insisted on vast reading habit to be cultivated in students to manage the current trends in management.

R. Krishnan ,Vice President, TCS, delivered enlightening  speech on 'Job opportunities for MBA'. 'MBA can contribute more to the world of business , don't look back to beaten backs' he said. He motivated students by providing existing opportunities in MBA . He pointed that MBA aspirants should show their creativity after entering in to a job,' Be ready to work in newer areas to demonstrate your hidden skills'. He insisted students to get explored in many unexplored areas saying that ' Its a beginning , not an end'.

Mr. Amitabh Sri Vastava ,The Chopras , Education Consultancy ,Director,  presented a interative session on 'MBA Abroad'. He discussed about students opting fo MBA in abroad , and why they can pursue MBA in foreign countries. He gave tips to students in taking examination for getting in to better B-Schools.

Mr.E. Sarath Babu , The Founder and CEO Food King shared his experience has ' Young achiever' .  He said ' Success is what you define for yourself' . He shared his earlier days, how he prepared himself to reach success and the  strategies he tried to attain his goal. He Insisted students to develop communication skills which is most important for any MBA aspirant.
