Obama's envoy to visit IIT coaching institute for underprivileged

US President Barack Obama's special envoy to Organization of Islamic Conference Rashad Hussain will visit Super 30, an IIT coaching institute for underprivileged, here on August 8.

Mr Hussain will be accompanied by Mr Benjamin Hesprich, Mr Clinton Brown, Consul for Political-Economic Affairs, US Consulate, Kolkata.

Super 30 is a novel initiative of mathematician Anand Kumar which makes children from underprivileged families successfully compete in Indias most sought after examination, IIT-JEE. Born in 1978, in Wyoming, an Indian-American Muslim, Hussain is the Representative of the United States of America to the Organisation of the Islamic Conference, an intergovernmental group with 57 member states, with rank and status of Envoy Extraordinary.
