New VC for Anna Varsity of Tech

Tamil Nadu Governor and Chancellor of Anna University today appointed P Devadas Manoharan, Head of the Department, Civil Engineering as the new Vice-Chancellor of Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirapalli.

Manoharan, who is also Professor and Head, Structural Engineering Division, College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai would hold office as Vice-Chancellor for a period of three years from the date of his assumption of office, a Raj Bhavan release here said.

The Governor also appointed K Meena, Principal, Shrimathi Indira Gandhi College, as the new Vice-Chancellor of Bhrathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli. Meena also would hold the office for a period of three years from the date of her assumption of office, the release said.
