UG students advised to pursue management courses for better future

A. Om Prakash, Chairman, Professional Development, South Indian Regional Chapter of the Indian Cost and Works Accountants of India, has advised undergraduate students to go in for management courses since it has a good scope in the future.

Addressing students at the India Investor Week celebrations at Arignar Anna College for Arts and Science in Krishnagiri on Wednesday, Mr. Om Prakash urged the students to develop the habit of saving as it would augment a planned life.

He also dealt about the financial planning for the future. Mr. Om Prakash also explained about the investment patterns such as investing in stocks, bonds, gold, fixed deposits, life insurance etc.

K. Shahjahan, a Krishnagiri-based Chartered Accountant, exhorted the students to pursue professional courses such as Chartered Accountancy, ICWAI and Company Secretaryship after the graduation.In his welcome address P. Ponram, Principal, Arignar Anna College, said the India Investor Week is being celebrated to create awareness among small investors. R. Parameshwari, a third year BBA student, proposed a vote of thanks.
