Visa to the land of ideas

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Information Center, Chennai, organised a special session on Student Visa Procedures on June 7, at the Center.

Stephan Kowitz, head of visa section, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chennai, spoke on the visa procedure and answered queries raised by the students.

He said that students must carefully read the visa application process/updates and changes in visa rules at the website www.chennai.diplo.de and furnish the documents required.

In most cases, visas are rejected only when the requirements are not fulfilled.
