JNTU to introduce two new diploma courses from this year

Rajahmundry(AP): The Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTU) will introduce two new one-year diploma courses from this academic year.
The decision to introduce one-year diploma courses in Tourism and Journalism was taken at the varsity's Monitor Direct Committee (MDC) meeting in Hyderabad yesterday, Vice-Chancellor Allam Appa Rao said.

The approval for construction of the prestigious Icon Bhavan of JNTU was also sanctioned in the meeting, he said. Besides, a decision to install late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's bronze statue in the university premises was also taken during the meeting, he added.
