MK Varsity offers course for the unemployed

Madurai: A new one-year self-employment certificate course in electrician is being organised for the benefit of educated unemployed youth.

The course offered by the Department of Adult Continuing Education and Extension of Madurai Kamaraj University.

The course would commence on April 29, 2009 and conclude on April 28, 2010 with classes being held between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. every day. It includes theory and practical classes. Periodical tests would also be held along with field tests.

Those who have cleared Standard X are eligible to apply for the course.
