Technology in education awards presented

Bangalore : Intel in association with Department of State Education Research and Training (DSERT) and Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) today honored winners of the 6TH Technology in Education Awards.

 The event is held annually for effective integration of technology in teaching and learning processes. Three schools, 15 teachers, 15 student groups and five primary teachers/Block Resource Persons (BRP) were awarded for the best use of technology in education and integration of innovative teaching methods.

A total of 450 entries were received for the competition from government schools across the state with good number of teachers and students from rural parts participating in the contest.

The cash prize included Rs 10,000 each for schools, Rs 5000 each for teachers, Rs. 2500 for each students group and Rs 3000 each for Primary school teachers/BRP's.
