Applications invited for medical courses

Applications are invited for admission to the following degree courses:

AIMS, Kochi

Amrita School of Medicine (AIMS), Kochi, has invited applications for medical entrance examination to be held on May 22 for admission to its MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B.Sc. nursing, B.Sc. respiratory therapy/ B.Pharm. / B.Sc. MRT courses. The test will be conducted at Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Kolkata.

Eligibility

For MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS: A pass in first attempt in Plus Two with not less than 60 per cent marks in English and 60 per cent aggregate marks in biology, chemistry and physics. Age limit: 17-23 as on December 31, 2010.

For B.Sc. Nursing: Same as above, but at least 50 per cent marks in English. Application forms, admission details including eligibility criteria of all the above courses can be obtained from the website www.amrita.edu. Application fee is Rs.1320 for MBBS / BDS/ BAMS and Rs.670 for all other courses. Filled-in application form along with demand draft for the application fee should reach the Admission Co-ordinator, Office of Admissions, AIMS- Ponekkara. P.O, Kochi – 682041 latest by May 8. CMC Vellore

The Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore – 632002, has invited applications for admission to its MBBS / B.Sc. nursing, BOT, BPT, B.Sc. MLT, B.Sc. optometry courses. Meritorious Plus Two holders with English, physics, chemistry, biology or botany and zoology are eligible to apply. Application fee of Rs.750 should be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of CMC Vellore Association on any scheduled bank payable at Vellore. The college has also invited application for admission to M.Sc. biochemistry, microbiology, epidemiology and biostatistics; PG diploma courses in nuclear medicine, medical microbiology, medical virology, dialysis therapy, cardiac technology, neuro- electro physiology, perfusion technology, applied molecular genetics methods, health management, and dietetics.
