Dare 2010

Kolkata: Talented students and artists across the country have a chance to have their projects to be displayed in the Edinbugh Festival Fringe this August.

Dare to be Digital is a international computer game design competition organised and promoted by the University of Abertay Dundee.

The competition is open to students who are undergraduates at university or are enrolled in colleges of art.

Applications for teams of five students each with games ideas targeted for any platforms including social networking sites, mobile phones, PC and any consoles, are now open.
 
Teams of five students, usually a mix of artists, programmers and audio, assemble in the development hothouse for 10 weeks to develop a prototype video game, receiving daily support and weekly training sessions from industry specialists.

Students can apply online until March 28,2010.
