Pact signed to conduct SAP courses

Park Group of Institutions has entered into a memorandum of understanding with SAP India to conduct SAP certification courses at the Coimbatore and Chennai campuses of their institutions. Under the aegis of the MoU, Park will conduct e-learning programmes for its students in association with Unisoft Infotech, Bangalore.

The programme will be for six months and will cover topics like management process, organisational behaviour, industry best practices and information systems.

The MoU will also entail placement support on completion of the course. It was signed by S. Jayavel, Chief Executive Officer of Unisoft, and Anusha R. Mahesh, Chief Executive Officer of Park Institutions.

PSG College of Technology entered into a memorandum of understanding with Classle Knowledge, a social enterprise focused on education empowerment. The areas of collaboration will include using social technology enhanced learning as a part of teaching-learning process, developing on-ramp and expert content to assist students from rural background, and also enhancing quality of research.

Both of them will conduct workshops and change management programmes towards the adoption of these capabilities. The MoU was signed by Vaidya Nathan, Chief Executive Officer of Classle, and R. Rudramoorthy, Principal of the college.

SSK College of Engineering and Technology entered into a memorandum of understanding with CODISSIA for mutual benefit through industry-institute interaction.

Signed by K. Ilango, President of CODISSIA, and S. Senthil Kumar, Secretary of the college, the MoU will facilitate visit of students to the industries which are part of CODISSIA and also use the expertise of the industrialists.

Technical conferences, seminars, symposia, exhibitions and practical classes will be jointly arranged. CODISSIA will also assist in student placements during vacations or otherwise.

Kathir College of Engineering and Management signed a memorandum of understanding with Tussor Machine Tools India Private Limited, a machine tool manufacturer, to enable the college students to undergo training at the manufacturing unit. Students will be assessed during the training and will be subsequently absorbed as employees based on their performance.

The MoU was signed by Ganesh Parthasarathy, Chief Executive Officer of the company, and G. Doraiswamy, Principal of the college.
