NET students can refer Old Question Papers: RIT

New Delhi: Students appearing for the National Eligibility Test (NET), test for lectureship and award of junior research fellowship can now ask for the old questionnaires

By sending a plea to Right to Information (RTI) students can collect the old question papers with them.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), country's premiere research and development body, state that making old question paper will affect its plan of conducting the test online but the Central Information Commission (CIC) kept aside the matter.

The CSIR conducts the tests for science subject said to CIC that a question bank has been put up by picking up appropriate questions from previous exams question paper. 'If the question bank gets exposed will act as a threat to the online examination system,' it said.

The CSIR has to provide copies to Mony Singla from Haryana before April 25 as directed by the CIC.
