Karunya University inks pact with University of Lethbridge

Karunya University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, as part of its expanding collaborations with the international universities.

The purpose of the agreement was to establish academic and scholarly co-operative relations between the faculty of management, University of Lethbridge and Karunya University.

The MoU would facilitate the promotion of mutual academic and cultural learning through faculty and student exchanges, developing and establishing mutually beneficial joint research projects in order to foster institutional advancement, organising work study programmes, conferences, activities of technical cooperation, technological transfer and technical cooperation.

Under the provisions of a separate MoU signed between the School of Graduate Studies and Faculty of Management, Lethbridge University, with Karunya University, management students of Karunya would be able to obtain admission to the Master of Science in Management Degree program at the University of Lethbridge. The MoU was signed by Paul P. Appasamy, Vice Chancellor, Karunya University, Bill Cade, President, Lethbridge University, and Lindsay Murray, Dean, Faculty of Management, Lethbridge University.
