Presi students demand script review

Updated on: Monday, November 30, 2009

Kolkata: Students from Presidency College have demanded a review of answer scripts.

The statement made by the Student Federation of India (SFI) comes after Calcutta University’s results for BA/BSc/Bcom part II revealed a decline in marks for the second consecutive year.

SFI president Sushanta Ghosh blamed the evaluation process for the marks and said that those scoring low marks were in their third year and would have to repeat a year if authorities did investigate.

Authorities from Calcutta University said there was no problem in the evaluation process and would be no supplementary examinations for the students affected.
