1, 30,000 applicants to appear for KIITEE 09

Bhubaneswar: About 1,30,000 applicants, including 30,000 students from Orissa, will for KIITEE ‘09 on May 17.
 
The examination will be held across the country with 12 exam centres in Orissa. Twenty-five per cent of the seats are reserved for students of Orissa. There is also an online test facility.
 
Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT Group of Institutions said that there will be a scholarship of Rs 36,000 for the 10 best students of CBSE and ICSE boards from various states who have taken admission to KIIT. Those who rank between 11 to 50 will be entitled to a scholarship of Rs 24,000 per year.
 
The KIITEE topper will receive free education.
 
This year applications have been received from all over the world like America, Japan, German, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Ghana, Ireland and Austria.
 
The results of KIITEE 09 will be declared on May 30 and admission starts from June 12.
