Interactive class sessions required

Villupuram: Classroom session should be made collaborative, interactive and interesting, said Nalini Ravindran, Director, Directorate of Collegiate Education, Chennai.

Speaking at a national symposium for trainee teachers on ‘Innovative teaching strategies' held at Sri Sarada Ashram, Ulundurpet she said that teachers should act as facilitators and not behave like dictators.

Teachers should provoke the thought process among students, she said C.N. Balakrishna Nambiar, Principal, Devakiamma Memorial Teacher Education College, Kerala, and A.R. Seetha Ram, Sri Sarada College Principal, spoke on the ocassion
