ISB gets costlier by Rs1.5 lakh

Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB), ranked 15th among top B-schools in the world has announced Rs 1.5 lakh hike in its fee from this year.

As per announcement by ISB, students aspire to get admission to one-year postgraduate programme (PGP) the flagship programme of ISB in the upcoming academic session will have to pay a total amount of Rs 19.16 lakh including accommodation, books, laptop, alumni association membership fee and meal expenses.

Students got admission in 2008-09 batch had to pay Rs 15 lakh as academic fee.

The increase in fee has been marked as a minor cost adjustment by an ISB spokesperson.

The ISB, meanwhile, is raising its intake from 440 to about 600 from 2009-10. This will imply creation of more accommodation facilities for students.
