Dental school in Balurghat

There are plans of building a dental college seven kilometres away from Balurghat in West Bengals South Dinajpur district.
 
Balurghat College of Science and Technology has sent a proposal to the government stating that it is ready to run either a self-financed dental college or operate it on a public-private partnership. College authorities will also consider going into a joint venture with the government.
 
The college will run at the Kamarpara Health Centre, a six-acre plot, which has been abandoned for a number of years.
